A Glimpse Into Your Future...
Flights
Arrivals
Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) OR
La Paz International Airport (LAP).
Cabo:
Arriving no later than mid-day or early afternoon of the first day is good. We'll rent cars and carpool up the coast about 2 hours to the marina. It's nice to arrive at the marina in time by dinner time. We'll get access to the boat around 5pm and settle in.
La Paz:
The airport is small and pricier than Cabo, but it's close and convenient to the Marina. Just catch a cab from the airport to the marina. Arriving late afternoon is fine.
- Our first night will involve dinner at a restaurant and sleeping on the boat at the dock.
- We will not cast off until the next morning, so don't worry if you're delayed or arrive a little late.
Departures
We will return to the dock around 9-10am on our last day.
- You can book returning flights that depart Cabo around 2pm or later without having to rush yourself.
- You can book returning flights that depart out of La Paz as early as 12-1pm.
- Later flights are fine too, as it will give you a chance to move at a leisurely pace.
Pro Tip: You are always welcome to arrange a stay at a hotel or AirBnb if you'd like to arrive early or stay on after the sailing trip.
Ground Transportation
- If you're flying into Cabo, we'll communicate about carpooling
- If you fly into La Paz, catching a cab will be the easiest option
- Your actual cost will vary based on which size vehicle you choose and how many people are riding with you.
- Confirm a price with your driver before loading your luggage into the vehicle.
