A Glimpse Into Your Future...

Flights

Arrivals

Books flights into Rome (FCO) or Naples (NAP)

If you fly to Rome, you will want to take a train or drive to Naples.

You will arrive in Naples and then take a ferry to the island of Procida, where we will pick up the boat.

We will get access to the boat around 5pm.

  • Landing in the afternoon to early evening is fine.
  • Our first night will involve dinner at a restaurant and sleeping on the boat at the dock.
  • We will not cast off until the next morning, so don't worry if you're delayed or arrive a little late.

Departures

We will disembark around 9-10am on our last day.

  •  You can book returning flights that depart around 1pm or later without having to rush yourself.
  •  Later flights are fine too, as it will give you a chance to move at a leisurely pace.
  •  We recommend using the Mobile Passport Control app to reduce security wait times on your return flight (this can save you up to 1-2 hours).

Pro Tip: You are always welcome to arrange a stay at a hotel or AirBnb if you'd like to arrive early or stay on after the sailing trip.

Ground Transportation

Getting to Procida from Naples:

We pick up our sailboat on the island of Procida about 25km (15.5 miles) from Naples.

Once you've left the airport, you must go to the main ports of Naples: Molo Beverello (for hydrofoils) or Porta di Massa (for ferries). As travelers without a vehicle, you can take either. Ferries also transport cars. These two locations are within walking distance of each other.

You can also go to the Port of Pozzuoli. Pozzuoli also regular ferry or hydrofoil services to Procida.

The journey time by ferry to Procida will take up to one hour and by hydrofoil about 35 minutes.

Ferries & hydrofoils cost $25-75 per person.

Getting from the airport to the ferry/hydrofoils:

Alibus: departs from Naples airport to the main Port of Naples (Molo Beverello) every half hour. The journey takes about 30 minutes. (6:00am to 11:30pm)

Price: 5 euros per person.

You can also just catch a cab.

FERRY / HYDROFOIL companies include:

Caremar (hydrofoil and ferry service)

SNAV (hydrofoil service)

Once you arrive in Procida and leave the ferry/hydrofoil terminal, you should turn left and walk along the marina. Once you have passed the church you will find The Moorings/SailItalia office on the right, about 20 meters further on.
