We will get access to the boat around 5pm.

  • Landing in the afternoon to early evening is fine.
  • Our first night will involve dinner at a restaurant and sleeping on the boat at the dock.
  • We will not cast off until the next morning, so don't worry if you're delayed or arrive a little late.

Departures

We will disembark around 9-10am on our last day.

  •  You can book returning flights that depart around 1pm or later without having to rush yourself.
  •  Later flights are fine too, as it will give you a chance to move at a leisurely pace.
  • We recommend using the Mobile Passport Control app to reduce security wait times on your return flight (this can save you up to 1-2 hours).

Pro Tip: You are always welcome to arrange a stay at a hotel or AirBnb if you'd like to arrive early or stay on after the sailing trip.

  • UBER: Uber is also available in Athens.
  • BUS: From the Airport - The X-96 from the Airport to the Port of Piraeus (about 70 min) and then by taxi no more than 5 euros to the marina (about 5 min) OR the 904 bus (about 20 minutes) to Freatida Station where the base is located.

Marina Information

Marina Address:

Zea Marina (Pireus), Marina Zeas, Athina 186 36, Greece

This is the address you should use for any forms required as you enter the country.

Customs officers will often ask for a boat name. Please tell them we won't know the boat name until it is assigned later in the day.

  •  The marina is surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafes.
  •  Non-boat showers and bathroom facilities are available.
  •  Groceries: A large grocery store (Sklavenitis) is available across the street from the marina for any last minute items.
  • Pool: a swimming pool is located at the entrance of the marina. It costs ~15 euros per person. No children under 16 years old. If you arrive before the boat is ready, this is a great place to hang out and relax.
  • Luggage: While waiting for the boat to be ready, you can store your luggage at the charter reception office.
